Meet Marcy Yarborough, LMT, CPT
Owner of Hygeia Spa and Fitness
With over 25 years of experience in the health and wellness industry, Marcy has been a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in Florida since 1998 and a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) since 2001. She is also nationally certified through the National Certification for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork, further enhancing her expertise in providing therapeutic and effective treatments.
Marcy's passion for massage therapy began after she personally experienced the benefits of massage following a sports injury and a car accident. Inspired by the remarkable results, she pursued a career in massage therapy to help others achieve improved health and well-being. Her unique understanding of the healing process, based on her own experiences with injury recovery and prenatal care, allows her to connect deeply with clients facing similar challenges.
Specializing in spinal injuries, migraines, neck, shoulder and back pain, sports injuries, arthritis, fibromyalgia, and prenatal massage, Marcy is committed to providing personalized care to each client. She takes a holistic approach to healing, tailoring every session to meet the individual needs and goals of those she serves.
Her compassionate and empathetic approach has earned her local recognition, including a Bronze award for Best Massage in SRQ Magazine’s Best of 2022 and 2023, and honorable mentions in 2024 for Best Massage, Best Day Spa and Best Fitness Coach/Studio for Hygeia Spa and Fitness.
